Here you can find out about me and my contemporary romances, with excerpts, buy links, and peeks at what’s in the works. Upcoming is the Beach House No. 9 series. On January 1, a digital-only novella, Beach House Beginnings, is available that introduces you to the sun-and-fun enclave of Crescent Cove, California. In the following succeeding months, three full-length novels will be released, Beach House No. 9, Bungalow Nights, and The Love Shack.

The books will make you laugh, will make you cry, will make you experience a Southern California summer in all its blue-sky-and-golden-sand glory. Enjoy!

From the prestigious Publisher’s Weekly: “Ridgway’s emotional and powerful second beach-themed contemporary (after Beach House No. 9) is exemplary in its slow exploration of desire. Col. Samuel Parker, dying in battle, made combat medic Vance Smith promise that he’d take Samuel’s daughter, Layla, on a series of sweet father-daughter outings in Samuel’s stead. Vance dutifully invites Layla to a month-long vacation at a California beach house—and is taken aback to discover she’s a fully grown woman. Vance is still determined to fulfill his vow in an upright fashion, even if he has trouble resisting Layla’s charms. As the pair watches sunsets and rides a Ferris wheel, Layla falls for the injured veteran and gently encourages him to reunite with his estranged family. The smoldering chemistry, a wonderfully evocative Californian setting of orange groves and avocado orchards, and a well-earned resolution to Layla’s grief and Vance’s family angst make this tender story everything a romance reader could hope for.”

The book is now available for pre-order and will hit the shelves February 26th!

From Booklist, for Beach House No. 9, available January 29th:

“Ridgway launches a new series with wonderfully compelling characters, from the flawed and conflicted protagonists down to bit players, in a great work of smart, escapist reading.”

Fun fact! The backdrops for the covers of the Beach House No. 9 books were photographed at the real-life inspiration for their setting, California's Crystal Cove State Park.
